In 2008, I received my BSc from the London School of Economics in History and International Relations.
I then began a 5 year teaching career, working in public schools in Baltimore City (my hometown), Washington D.C., and Singapore.
In 2020, I received my PhD in History from Princeton University.
I have since taught at SciencesPo, Reims campus (2019–2020), at Mount Holyoke College (2020–2021), and at the National Institute of Education in Singapore (2022–present).
I am currently a reviews editor for H-Diplo, serve on the Editorial Review Board of the African Studies Review, collaborate with the HumanEuroMed European Research Council project, and also interview recent authors for the New Books Network podcast.
My husband and two young children and I live in Singapore.
